The new Pikeville Fire Station No. 3 is located on Hambley Boulevard in Pikeville, KY. The location provides responsive access to the four-lane boulevard to better serve the community. This facility is constructed of concrete masonry with brick and natural stone veneer with a standing seam metal and rubber membrane roof. The Station has (3) drive-thru truck bays with continuous drives to access the boulevard. The administrative area of the facility houses bunk rooms for fire fighters and offices for daily operations. Emergency operations can take place quickly as the Station is equipped with a back-up emergency generator so the facility can function as emergency storm shelter.
