A blend of strong typeface and equally weighted frame embodies the controlled expertise and steadfast value Summit brings to each project, while the logo’s accented copper elements symbolize the strategic fusion of architectural and engineering disciplines. Both sheared to denote upward movement and progress, the right-foot of the “M” represents where the company came from, while the rising “I” embodies where the company is going. This ascension cuts through the top of the frame to signify Summit’s unlimited potential and impact on the communities they serve.

Who Summit is today

More than 45 years ago, Summit was founded in eastern Kentucky as a mining and engineering firm. These roots helped establish the Summit name and positioned the firm’s architectural and civil engineering divisions to become an unspoken powerhouse. Harrison County High School

Known locally as “the hilltop,” Harrison County High School is one of Summit’s latest projects to date. The facility will be located on a 100-acre plot of land set aside two decades ago with the goal of building an educational campus. This project will offer new and impactful opportunities to the students of Harrison County, and we are proud to be an integral part of bringing this 20-year-old dream to fruition.
